Save $$ By Using Coupons
Many families today are looking for ways to cut the grocery budget without having to sacrifice groceries. A very simply way to save a lot of money in the grocery store is by using coupons! With our economy the way it is and jobs not on the rise, it is time to become a wise consumer and time to start looking for ways to cut the grocery bill down.
Many families have mastered the skill of coupon shopping and have been able to cut their grocery bill in half! Yes, I said half!
Here are some tips for shopping with coupons and saving money!
1. If you are not sure where to find coupons, start looking in your Sunday paper. Most cities have a few sheets of coupons. Cut every coupon you may use and check the expiration dates on them. You can also find coupons and Print FREE Grocery Coupons at CoolSavings, Long live the Coupon! at Couponizer, eversave, and even on manufactures websites.
2. Before heading out to just any store to do your shopping, compare prices at each store. Just because you may have 5 grocery stores in your area, does not mean they all have the same prices. While searching for the best grocery store to do your shopping, find out if they offer double coupon days. Many grocery stores offer double coupon days, so you can save even more by shopping on those days.
Example: You have a coupon for $1.00 off a box of Chex cereal. Your grocery store offers double coupon day on Tuesday, on Tusday they will offer your coupon for $2.00 instead of $1.00.
